Class 2 devices are more advanced models, offering additional technologies and customized options.

  • Financing : Partially reimbursed by Social Security and supplemental health insurance, but a co-payment may be required.
  • Advantages :
    • More advanced features : noise reduction, rechargeable device, Bluetooth connectivity, custom programming.
    • More precise adaptation to specific hearing needs.
  • Ideal for : Patients seeking maximum comfort and superior hearing performance.

The Complémentaire Santé Solidaire is a public scheme for people on low incomes.

  • Financing : Hearing aids can be covered at 100% including the excess usually covered by supplementary health insurance.
  • Conditions :
    • Income below a certain threshold.
    • Application to be submitted to the health insurance fund.
  • Advantages : Provides access to hearing aids with no out-of-pocket expenses, so that hearing health is not neglected.

The MDPH (Departmental House for Disabled People) and the RQTH (Recognition of Disabled Worker Status) provide specific funding or assistance for people with disabilities.
